Popcorn is a tasty treat that has the same nutritional values as corn (without salt or butter). Also, popcorn has much to do with science. For example, you can use it to explain air pressure
Well, today we made popcorn. However, we did not make this popcorn just to eat it,we made it to study air pressure. See, in the little kernels that are used to make popcorn have water in them. As we all know, water can be liquid, vapor and solid. When you turn on the heater the kernels are radiated. So, when that water heats up, it turns into steam and breaks the kernel open. That is when the white starchy thing appears. Fascinating isn't it.So, now your favorite treat is also a science project!
